Overseen by dedicated trustees, managed by an enthusiastic team and helped by wonderful volunteers, we ensure that Members and visitors have access to a variety of courses, talks, activities and resources.

Our love of the Institute and our determination that it retains its importance in Guildford has resulted in the award of important financial grants to help us redevelop and improve our facilities, creating a new era of discovery.

The Institute takes its role as a community hub for Guildford very seriously. We constantly strive to offer a broad range of activities that meet the needs of our members and users in a welcoming and friendly environment and encourage feedback and input from everyone. Our new lift and wheelchair-accessible toilet enable the building to match our aim of being accessible to all and mark a new era in the Institute's development.
